Urban Writers
The Urban Writers Workshop is an ongoing project since 2002, documenting life in New York and New Jersey, beginning with workshop at the Puffin Foundation in Teaneck, NJ and later moving to Riverside Church in Manhattan. Many of these stories and prose poems will later be collected into Big City: Stories from New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
The work below was developed by participants at past Urban Writers Workshops. Click the title of each piece to open a new page.
