Winter
2008.
In 2010, Santa Fe will celebrate its 400th anniversary. Free River Press
has been designated by the City of Santa Fe to create a book to celebrate
the occasion. This will be an anthology of writings by Santa Fe seniors
on the city in the 1940s and 50s.
"A
Search for America," by Robert Wolf on the early history of Free
River Press, appears in the January 2008 issue of "The Journal of Rural
Mental Health," published by the Idaho State University Press. It is based
on a talk given by Wolf in August 2007 in Kansas City to the Annual Conference
of the National Association for Rural Mental Health.
Summer 2007.
The northern New Mexico workshop participants who contributed to Ayer
Y Ahora develop into a collaborative team to prepare and promote future
publications and readings.

Ayer Y Ahora, published in October
2006 and written by Hispanics and Anglos, wins the Heritage Preservation
Award for Publication from the State of New Mexico.
